The Current World Record is held by Rumplestiltskin, a Jester from Australia
who is currently a performer with "Cirque de Soleil."
At Noon on Monday 29th
May Jonathan the
Jester will be attempting to break the record of the longest street performance.
The show will continue throughout the day and through the night and continue until 2pm on Tuesday 30th May.
The record attempt will take place in Salisbury
Market Square and on the the Guild Hall Square on a public thoroughfare. Exposed to the British weather I hope to
hold and maintain a crowd for the entire length of the show.
I have chosen to perform this record in Salisbury because it was watching streetperformers at Salisbury International Arts Festival
that inspired me to perform on the street.
This will be the third time that this record has been attempted. Rumplestiltskin is going to beat this record again in the near future and other artists are looking at challenging for it.
This record is for the longest ever STREETSHOW.
